Finally the kittens got names! The future owner of the female decided that her name should be Mysterium, witch meens Mystery. In Sweden every year there is a Christmas Calender shown at the television and 1996 the calenders name was Mysteriet på Greveholm, the Mystery of Greveholm. Therefor we named the boy Greveholm.

16/11

Today our little white princess left us in big sorrow. She was so alert and forward but couldn't handle life outside mummys body. We are very sorry but have to be glad for the two lovely kittens that don't seem to have the same problem, and we keep them under surveillance untill we know exactly what happend.

THE KITTENS ARE HERE!

4/11

This weekend we went to Gothenburg for some show and some pleasure. Norwegian Forest Cat United and Spinneriet arranged a cat show with only Norwegian Forest Cats and we helped out a little in the information during the day. Some pictures from the day you can find here

All three cats were to be judged by Raymond Alessandro Saetre and we sure didn't mind that. Orrin was the first one and we hardly belived our ears when he got a great judgement of Raymond! He was very impressed by his look, his ears and triangle. Orrin became six months this monday so it was hardly he could be in class 12 at the sunday =) They were four males in the class and after a long and hard elimination Orrin got in second place. Raymond was very impressed by all four males and said that he without a doubt could nominate all of them. At the end of the day Orrin also came to the nomination in the special classes best look and best ears. We were extreemly proud that he was one of Raymonds three best cats in the best ears competition and one of four in best look!

After Orrin it was Pippis turn who just got to compete with the grown females. Raymond liked her boning, body and head for the age but of course she needs to grow before she can compete with the other females. She got her certificate CAC since she was alone in her class but didn't compete anymore after that.

Ronja was our last cat for the day and Raymond wasn't impressed by her even if he thought that she was a very nice girl. We think that Ronja isn't quite in the same class as the others and Raymond confirmed that. He rekomended us to let her be a breeding female instead of show cat and he said that the beautiful male that we had was a good complement to her =) What Orrin had a lack of, the quality of the fur so far and the bonestructure that was a bit smaller than the others, Ronja had as good things - a super quality of the fur and a great bonestructure! Ronja got Ex 1 without certificat but we got a good motivation and were pleased with the decision.

We are very happy with the day and thought that Raymond gave good critisism in a good way that far from all judges do... We are pleased with the judgements and are above all very happy that it went so very well for our little Orrin even if it "only" became an Ex 2 in the protocoll.

Here at home it's getting closer to kittens to now we will stay home for a while. The plan is to go to NERKs show in january but it depends if we get a place or not, they get full very quick! We haven't decided witch cats to bring yet. Pippi don't need to rush it with her certificats yet when she is so young, but it would be good to keep her beginning calmness at the shows up to date. Ronja doesn't need to go to shows either but is a good calm company to the others. Orrin did great this time and only got a bit restless when the elimination took such a long time, but wasn't scared at all. So, we will see who will come, we have a few weeks left to decide.

Lycka is looking more and more like a big ball and today I arranged her little birth-home that she inspected and made a bit allready. Next weekend the stork should come to visit! It is going to be very exighting and right now I hope that she will wait untill the weekend so that I can be a part of it and not just Stoffe that has taken a holiday for the occation.

The show results are updated.

25/10

We went to visit Emil at his new home at Andreas, Kattis and all the cat- and dogfriends. He has really grown and seems to like it just fine in his new home. We are very happy that he got another great home! Thank you Andreas and Kattis again! I made a site with pictures at Emil and his friends that you can find here.

13/10

We have been to a show! Unfortunatlly it wasn't so many pictures from the day since all the cats came to the judge at the same time... But we got some pictures of Orrin debute at least! He was very good even if it was a bit scary with all the people! He got his Ex 1 but lost the BOV and NOM to better cats. But we are happy anyways. Here are some pictures:

Daddy's arms are the safest.

30/9

It seems as the mating worked out! We are expecting kittens in week 46 if everything works out well between IC Tidernas Lycka and IC S*Drakborgens Yllin Kyllin. Reed more in the kittens page!

16/9
Now our plannes are finally updated! Check them out in the kittens page.

I've added links to S*Highlander's and S*Drakborgens.

15/9

Some changes in the page. We changed the look in the Show page and also colected all the cats in the menu under "Our Cats". We think this will be better, you know a homepage is always developing.

We removed each cat's results from their own pages though theese now are written for each cat seperatly in the show page. We wrote some more of each cat in their own pages instead and hopefully it will be easier to se and find the right things in the page now. The texts are only in swedish so far but will be avalible in english shortly.

We have also updated the results from VK's show in Gothenburg last weekend for Pippi and Ronja. Lycka couldn't come this time because she is on a date! More info about that will of course come here and in the kittens page.

8/9
Now there are more pictures at Orrin from his first weeks at S*Highlanders.
Pictures of Orrin you can find here.
Show results from MSK this weekend are now updated.

7/9
It finally happened! We fell in love with a boy!!

Who do you think are enjoying it the most....?

When we visited S*Highlanders last week we fell totally in love with S*Highlanders Qeegan McOrrin and all the other charming cats! This thursday we went back to bring back the little "blueberry" who hasn't got a proper name yet. Right now his name is both Orrin and Qeegan. He has adapted well here at home and is more and more curious about the other cats. Hopefully he will be a breeding male and a show cat but no matter what we are allready totally in love with the little charming boy who loves to cuddle in the sofa and purrs like a whole engine! In October he will come to the show in Tibro! More pictures you can find through the page Norwegian Forest Cat.

Updates of the show results from this weekend will come in shortly but if you are curious this is how it went:

Pippi - ex 1 of 2
Ronja - ex 2 of 3
Lycka - ex 3 of 4

Next weekend we are going to Borås to celebrate that Kicki's mother Lena is having her 50:th birthday! Congratulations!!
At the same time we will visit a cat show in Gothenburg with Lycka, Ronja and Pippi.

29/8
Now that our own show in Kungsör is over I took the time to update the show results from the weekend. As you can see it didn't go very well in the saturday when all three Forest Cats became Ex 2. At the sunday it seems as they were a bit nicer because then both kittens became BIV. Lycka is not in a good condition right now but that was no surprise for us. We will see if she can get her two last CAGCIB to become GIC before the year is over... We got some great tips though about preparation so we hope that can give some results in the future, even though it won't help her get bigger and wider...

Our congratulations to Lena and Hasse Ahlros who's latest member of the family, the burmilla Roxanne, became this years club cat!

Next weekend we will go to Eskilstuna and two weeks later to Gothenburg, it will be an intense show year!

19/8
Updated with some new pictures at the cats, for example Lycka and Pippi

29/7

CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK WE WISH TO LENA AND HASSE WHO HAS STARTED THEIR NEW JOBS AT THE SVERAK OFFICE!

Some small updates in the page. Can also tell you that the cat situation has changed a bit here at home. Emil finally found a home at Andreas & Kattis outside of Arboga where he has got lots of friende and likes it just fine! We are very happy that it works so good and that Emil finally got a family of his own to play with! He is also neutered and seems to like that to.

A little more sad news are that we had to move Kicki's old burmeese female Hulda. Probably it became difficult with the social ranking among the cats when Seven got neutered, because Hulda started to change her behaviour and we understood that she didn't like it here anymore. After many difficult thoughts we decided to try and move her to Kicki's sister Jessica, her boyfriend Jon and their neutered burmeese Kårax (the brother of our Kompis) and to our relief it seems to be working better there. We will have to let the time go to see if it works but so far she seems to like it. It was a hard decision to make sence Hulda was Kicki's first cat that she had on her own, but we had to thing about what was best for her. It became very empty here at home without Hulda but as long as she feels better somewhere else it is worth it.

Becides all this we are working day and night (at least it feels like it) with work, building a terrace and a Cat Yard in the garden and the Cat Show in August.

21/6

Finally the results from the latest show is updated.
Right now we are quite busy with MLK:s cat show in august and the updates in the homepage is therefor suffering.
Thank you for your patience!

Emil from the Astrid litter has moved back home.

Marie unfortunately got her working shedule changed so she had to make the had decision that he didn't do so well being alone that much. We therefor decided to buy him back and he will stay with us for the time beeing. He has quite some unluck and has both injured a leg and his tale, so he will stay home from the shows and will become neutered within a short while to make sure there are no acidents with his mother or sister. He is so AMASINGLY charming so the decision to let him stay for now was not hard to make.

28/5

Updated the results from the show in Hässleholm.

27/5

Seven was out for a walk in the garden today and we got some really nice photos that you can see here,

21/5

We have been to a cat show in Finland! It was a great time! We met Lufsen from the first litter and he has become a BIG cat but still with the same great temperament. We also got to meet one of the litters he got before he got neutered and of course they where adorable! THANK YOU SUSANNA AND KRISTA FOR HAVING US! Thanks also to Monika and Kajsa who explained and kept us company at the show! Some pictures will come next week when there is more time. Tomorrow we will leave again, this time to the south of Sweden with destination Hässleholm in Skåne. There we will visit Stoffes family that lives there and we will also visit the cat show at saturday. We are lucky to have so wonderful cat helpers who will help when the planning gets crazy like this.
THANK YOU Madde, Lena and Hasse!
I've updated the show results from the weekend in Finland, and I put our latest cats in the Norwegian Forest Cat page.

29/4

Now all the kittens have found new homes. Ronja will live at Kicki's sister Madde but still belong to S*FamiljeLyckans cattery to begin with. Ronja is a very nice cat and we think that she will like it just fine with Madde and her other cats. Since all the kittens are sold they are now moved from Kittens to Previous Litters. Every kitten has there got a page of their own with a few pictures.

We have added a new link at the linkpage to the website Asiens vackraste (Asia's most beautiful). Take a look at their fine products!

Seven finally became neutered. We decided after a lot of thinking that we don't want to continue the bengal breeding with her. Unfortunately she gets nervous when she is not at home, no matter if it is at the vetrenarian or at a show, and we felt that we wanted to wait with the bengals and se if Seven feels better as neutered. If everything goes well we will try to bring her to Mälarkattens show in August. If it doesn't work then she will stay home from then on instead.

19/4

Now the results from the show in Märsta is avalible. We have made a longer story about the show in swedish but sadly we havn't had the time to do it in english. If you like to see pictures from the show you can still go in there and look. Here is the swedish page with the pictures. We have also updated the kittens page and Ronja is still looking for a home of her own.

Though we have got several questions about having the cat indoors or outdoors, we have put in a note in the kittens page that we only sell cats that will live indoors. We have put a longer explanation for this in the page about us, S*FamiljeLyckans.

I also got the sweetest piture of three of the kittens the other day =)

Sweethearts, aren't they? I put the piture in the startpage since it is all the three kittens that are for sale.

27/1-08

Today we added this newspage on the site. We hope it can make in a little easier to follow what's happening in our homepage and our lives if you are interested.

5-weeks pictures are now avalible!

We were in Örebro with the bengal cat Seven at a cat show this weekend, but unfortunatelly it didn't work very well. Probably it's her hormones that makes her all confused but she didn't like it at all and was very stressed. This is the second time she has behaved like this and it started when she started to be in heat, so we are guessing that it at least has something to do with it. We decided to take her out of the competition so she could rest in her cage like she wants to. We have now decided to let her rest from the shows for a great while before we try again. If it doesn't get any better she will stay home instead. The most important thing is that she feels good, even though it is to bad.

We have decided to go to a cat show in Stockholm in April with Lycka and the kittens. We are really looking forward to it and we will also compete in the litter-class (maybe it only excists in Sweden?). We have never done that before sence they have to be at least three, and the last litter was two. It's going to be fun!

We also decided for real that Pippi will stay in our family.
